Hello! Thanks for checking out my blog! This is a new project I am starting with absolutely no previous experience. It is going to be an exciting journey learning all about blogging and being able to share some of my experiences and opinions with you! I hope you will join me on this adventure and stick with me as I figure out all of the technicalities involved with blogging. 🙂
Who are you?
Pharmacist by day, bookworm by night. That just about sums it up right there. I spend my days dispensing medication and educating patients on healthy lifestyles and then I come home and escape into worlds of wonderful adventures through reading. I am 32 years old, have been happily married to the love of my life since 2015 (we’ve been together since 2007) and live in Arkansas. We just bought a house last year, so we are still settling in and getting everything situated the way we want. My favorite part of the move was the fact that our new house had a library already in it, complete with a full wall of built-in bookshelves! ❤
So what is this blog going to be about?
I absolutely love to spend my spare time reading. I have a SUPER LONG tbr (to-be-read) list at the moment! I plan on using this blog mostly to post my book reviews and book recommendations. There may be random posts about my everyday life once in a while, probably during vacations and maybe around the holidays.
Why do you love reading so much?
I believe books allow readers to enjoy so many different worlds (real & fantasy) and experience things they otherwise wouldn’t be able to. When you find a good book, you can imagine yourself there either as one of the characters or picture yourself there alongside them. Good writing allows the reader to feel like they are part of the story. It is a good way of “escaping” the stress of everyday life.
What kind of books do you read?
I mainly read mystery/thrillers, but I also have a lot of YA and fantasy books on my tbr. I recently started watching some BookTubers on YouTube and they have gotten me interested in some different types of books that I normally wouldn’t have bothered with.
